My artistic journey began with a love for visual mediums... but it didn't take long for writing to find me, too.
Creating through words started as a way to explore personal ideas and emotions. Eventually, I realized I loved writing in collaboration, from crafting narratives for entrepreneurial clients to partnering with organizations on advocacy and education initiatives.
A passion for science communications emerged for me somewhere around 2017. It all started with a whimsical space-themed business plan, which led to creating science-based teaching and social media materials (with clients like Reach: A Space Podcast for Kids, the Planetary Society, Zero Waste in D.C., and more), guest blogging with Ocean Blue Project, and today, co-creating a series of essays and a website highlighting the importance of beavers in together with Oregon Wild.
Writing, whether to understand feelings or how a black hole works, opens my heart to new depths of learning and imagination. To deepen my practice and unite it with my heart for environmental and social restoration, I'm pursuing my Masters of the Arts in Environmental Humanities. This step is all about diving into greater ecological knowledge and global systems thinking while honing my communication abilities. If you're seeking a collaborator who can blend the beauty of visual art with the power of the written word, I'd love to connect with you.
